Enjoyable Family Retreat with Scenic Views
We had a wonderful 4-night stay in a cozy Main Cottage. The breakfast buffet offered delicious local dishes, but lunch options were limited during the off-season as many restaurants were closed. Take advantage of the free bicycles for exploring nearby neighborhoods. Overall, a relaxing family experience!

The beach at Okuma Private Beach & Resort is stunning, with plenty of chairs for relaxing. The gardens are beautifully maintained, perfect for strolls. The bike rentals are a fun way to explore nearby neighborhoods. The complimentary breakfast buffet really impressed me, especially the variety of local dishes. Room comfort was good, though I noticed a persistent odor around the tub that was a bit off-putting. The golf cart rides from the room to different areas of the resort were a nice touch, especially since it rained during my stay. However, I felt dining options were pricey for families, at 5,000 yen per person for dinner. There’s not much to do nearby, which can make evenings feel quiet. While I enjoyed the big space in my room, I'd recommend addressing the foul smell for future guests. Overall, a solid stay with room for improvement.
